Jalena

JALENA - It was quite evident at a very early age that Jalena was in love with music. However, it wasn't until the Spring of 1996, when she attended a concert on the island of St Thomas, that she realized singing was the only thing she wanted to do for the rest of her life! Ever since that day Jalena has not only dreamed big, but has also managed to accomplish some of those dreams. She says, "I have come so far! I wasn't privileged enough to have been raised in a musical family or sing in a choir, so everything I know about music and singing, I taught myself." Born and raised in the British Virgin Islands to German parents, Jalena was exposed to many different genres of music. Jalena made the decision to progress from singing alone, in her room, to singing in front of an audience.
Now, after being through many ups and downs in such a short period, this budding songstress is a professional when it comes to entertaining her audience. Jalena is well on her way to becoming one of the Caribbean’s leading ladies!

ZAMUNDA - As Zamunda sings ..’Jah Love Surrounds Me’, we recall Zamunda as the name of the fictional African country in the Eddie Murphy comedy, ..’Coming to America’. However, today the name Zamunda  is going through a rebirth of  because of the success being enjoyed by the young reggae singer, Zamunda, who is signed to the Fearless Sound label, an organisation renowned for developing and supporting upcoming young artists. The lyrical stylings of Zamunda have been winning over a new generation of reggae fans with songs such as ..’Oh Jah, Jah, Jah Love’ and ..’Rebel’. “Just as how I am thankful for life it is just as how I am thankful for the talent of singing,” he said during a recent  interview. Born in Seville Heights, St. Ann, Jamaica on July 30, 1985, Christopher Zamunda Gayle is carrying the flag for revolutionary reggae music with his soulful harmonies and well-written songs. He wrote his first song at the age of 7 and by the age of 16, music was dominating all of his career choices.
